Help:
- Double-check that you are entering your cube faces with the correct side pointing up. It won't work if a face is upside-down or rotated. At the top of the screen there is text which explains which face should be on top as you are holding the cube. For example, if it says "White Face (Blue Up)", then hold your cube with the White face towards you and the Blue Face on the top.
- Make sure that you have the right type of cube selected on the Cube Setup screen. From the title screen, tap "Cube Setup" and make sure that your cube matches the selected type. If you have a non-standard cube, tap "Customize..." and input your cube's configuration.
- If the Solve button is disabled, this means that you have not entered all 48 of your cube's colors. The tiny cubes on the left side of the screen display red checkmarks once you have input all 8 colors for that face. Make sure that you have red checkmarks on all 6 faces.
- If you are certain that you have entered everything correctly and you get an error that says your cube has an illegal corner/edge or is too twisty/flippant/permuted, then this means that your cube is impossible to solve. If your cube has ever been taken apart and put back together, or if anyone has ever taken the stickers off, then it is likely that the cube cannot be solved. For example, a corner piece with two blue stickers is physically impossible on a valid cube. Only one in twelve physically possible configurations are actually solvable. If your cube is unsolvable, the only answer is to take it apart and put it back together again in the solved state.
- If your phone runs out of memory while taking a picture of your cube, please try rebooting first.
